They asked me why my students aren't seen in detention. I devised some story about preferring to punish the students myself rather than sending them off to someone else who doesn't realise the severity in some cases. I nearly regurgitated on myself. Do I really believe they don't see right through me? My blood can only help so much. My father died for this cause; they're not daft. Well, many of them are, but not all of them.

I cannot help but wonder how long I can keep this up. They torture them. Torture. Any word against the regime and their fate...

Enough of my belly-aching. Am I of any other use to the Order?

	Without Minerva at Hogwarts, you're of plenty use to the Order by protecting your students and keeping us abreast of the situation. Never worry about that. If anything up your alley should come up, be prepared for it, but, besides that, just continue as you are. The best way to make them suspicious is to suddenly change on them. 	The more I read about their atrocities, the more angry I get and the more restless I feel sitting here. You are doing much more to help the Order than I am here at Grimmauld. I'm being watched--my flat is, I mean, and I need an excuse as to why I won't be there a few nights a week, or as often as I can get away with it. A boyfriend's my best bet, and if anyone asks, I'll need a name to drop. They've already been scrutinizing everything I do, and if they find out I'm part of the Order--well.

You're already on their radar. It wouldn't be putting anyone else in unnecessary danger. But if you don't want to, don't worry about it, really. I only ask because you're brilliant.

You're doing fine, Ernie. You must realize that you cannot control the actions of others. You can only control your own. We're going to put an end to what they are doing but for now you've just got to be strong and keep doing what you're doing. Those students are probably more appreciative of what you're doing than you know.
